Before you book

What happens when you say yes to SyncGrid Mentor

Nobody should hand a stranger their client list on a promise. This is the whole path from a first call to a working practice, in order, with what each step costs, who does the work, and what you own when it is done.

By Joey Jones, founder

Step 1: A 30-minute walkthrough with Joey

Every walkthrough is with Joey Jones, the founder of SyncGrid LLC, one-on-one. It runs about 30 minutes. You see the boardroom and a demo workspace, you ask anything, and you tell him how your practice actually runs: your programs, the rooms you speak to, the people you follow up with, and what falls through the cracks today.

There is no pitch deck and no pressure. Access is by application, which means the call is also where both sides decide whether Mentor fits. Joey builds every Mentor practice personally, so he takes on three to four new coaches a month. If the fit is not there, he will say so.

Step 2: We scope your build

After the call you answer a detailed set of questions about your programs, your courses, your people, your voice, and what you want the storefront to sell. That is the material the build is scoped from. The more complete your answers, the faster the build.

Step 3: A proposal you accept and sign

You receive a written proposal that lists exactly what will be built, the one-time setup fee for your project, and the monthly plan. Setup is scoped per project, so the fee depends on the size of the build, not a flat rate. You accept and sign it before anything is charged.

Step 4: Deposit, then the build starts

The setup fee is paid 75% to start and 25% at handover. Work begins as soon as the deposit lands. There are no refunds on the setup fee once paid, on the subscription, or on any SyncGrid edition. When you cancel a subscription you are paid up to your next billing date and keep full access until then.

Step 5: Four to six weeks, built with you

Setup is a process we run together, not a login you are handed. Joey builds your website, your store, your Back Office, and your client portal, and interviews you so the team learns how you talk. Most coaches are fully onboarded, with programs and courses live, in four to six weeks. Larger builds take longer, and the proposal says so up front.

During the build your team is already working. Import your book and the follow-up drafts, pitches, and proposals start arriving for your approval.

Step 6: Handover and go-live

At handover the remaining 25% is due and everything is turned over to you: your website on your own web address, your store with checkout into your own Square account, your client portal, and your boardroom. From then on the monthly subscription rents the team that runs it, and Joey stays on as the person who tunes it and adds what you need.

What you own, and what happens if you leave

Your website, store, courses, customer list, and sales are yours, on your own web address. The monthly rents the team. If you leave the team, it all keeps working on our hosting, and you keep logging in to add programs, courses, and products by hand. You can download your courses, students, and orders any day from your Back Office.

  • Checkout goes into your own Square account, never ours
  • Nothing sends without your approval, enforced in the software
  • The team cannot read your inbox: Google-verified minimal permissions
  • Month to month, cancel anytime, no lock-in

Who sees your data

Your practice runs on Google Cloud, in its own space. Joey is the one person at SyncGrid who works inside it, because he is the one building and supporting it. The nightly work (drafting, prospecting, follow-up) is done by the platform on a schedule, so it keeps running whether or not anyone is at a desk.
